Media & Marketing:
I met Amanda a few years ago when she
decided to help out with girls’ hockey. I was the coach of a
local team, and Amanda would assist with our practises when she was
home from school. The following year Amanda and I played on opposite
Senior Women's hockey teams. It was easy to see that Amanda had great
athletic abilities. We became friends over the past two hockey seasons,
and now we play on the same soccer team.
When Amanda told me she got her pro card, I was thrilled! I was so
happy for her. If you know Amanda you'd know that she is an extremely
modest person. I asked her to let me read her sponsorship package
(a proposal she'd put together to try and gain sponsorship), initially
she shied away but ultimately she let me have a look. After seeing
and reading through Amanda's many past accomplishments and future
outlined goals, I couldn't help but offer her my help… it’s
not easy for modest people to market themselves! I own a graphic design
business, Nut-Nae Art Websites & Graphics, so I took
on the role of Amada's Media & Marketing Person.
We have started by putting together
this website and trading cards. Both will help with promoting Amanda’s
tour and sponsors. In time, I hope to help Amanda gain the media recognition
she deserves.
If you'd like to join Amanda's team by becoming a corporate sponsor,
please contact her directly.
